It turns out that the Bond films are — I hope you’re sitting down — unrealistic.
Expert statisticians have turned their skeptical eyes on Mr. Bond’s survivability and have reached a disheartening conclusion:
JAMES Bond has survived 4,662 shots fired at him in 22 films – an almost impossible feat, say experts.
Gordon Stanger, who worked out the sums, said: “This is as close to zero as makes no difference.”
Mr. Stanger adds, however, “On the bright side, the Bond films do manage to stick closer to the facts than did An Inconvenient Truth.”
